You already have your PSS Decompression Techniques certification and in the meantime you also attended the PSS Nitrox specialty course to extend the maximum no-stop dive times.
You now want to use the properties of the Nitrox mixes- or pure oxygen - to safely reduce the duration of the decompression phase to the least time possible. Nothing could be easier: just take the PSS "Accelerated Decompression Techniques" course which is the natural continuation of the Decompression Techniques course.
The knowledge and skills you will learn on this course will enable you to significantly reduce decompression times thanks to the use of enriched oxygen mixes. You will therefore learn how to change breathing mixes during the dive and, above all, how to choose the decompression mixes.
On successfully completing this course you will be awarded certification of your ability to dive autonomously, within the limits established for technical diving and with the following restrictions: maximum depth 50 meters (165 feet); total duration of planned decompression, including ascent, must not exceed 45 minutes (even in an emergency); use of only bimixes nitrogen-oxygen, with oxygen percentages greater than 20%; use of a single decompression mix different from the bottom mix, with oxygen percentages between 32% and 100%.
