As a Divemaster you discovered that passing your passion onto others gives you greater satisfaction than simply sharing it with them. This means that you are ready to take the most important step in your career: becoming a diving instructor. You can begin this career thanks to the PSS Assistant Instructor course.
The Assistant Instructor course, in conformity to ISO 24802-1 / EN 14413-1, is the first level offerred by PSS to training professionals who already hold the qualification of dive guide. During the course you will enjoy yourself as well as practice your favourite activity, but above all you will receive training that will be useful to you in all aspects of your life.
In fact, you will study how people learn, how they can be motivated and how to structure the theory and confined water lessons. You will also learn the basic principles for evaluations of open water checks. Your theory lessons, and those in the water, will soon become fun and interesting and your future students will be proud to have such a good instructor!
On successfully completing this course you will be awarded certification and membership to PSS as an "Assistant Instructor" professional.
As well as assisting diving instructors during courses, the PSS Assistant Instructor may carry out theory or confined water modules under the indirect supervision of an instructor or entire training programs (Skin Diver, Refreshing Scuba Skills, Emergency courses, etc.).
