The aim of the PSS Worldwide organization is to help people acquire all the skills necessary so that they can participate in diving activities safely at the level they are practiced. PSS Worldwide operates all over the world with the support of local facilities responsible for specific areas. However, there is just one organizational structure and all the associated professionals have just one internationally valid recognition.
In order to achieve its objectives, PSS Worldwide trains and qualifies diving professionals in general (guides, instructors and their assistants), establishes the general and the specific teaching objectives for each level of training, develops programs, and makes useful products and materials to assist professionals in the teaching and supervising of diving activities.
A fundamental characteristic of PSS Worldwide diver training is the continuous updating of the rules, texts and operators. In fact, its motto is"Dive Evolution".
As well as general diving activities, PSS Worldwide also promotes and publicizes shops, dive centers, clubs and other institutions all over the world that are involved in diver training and are officially associated with the organization.
