You now have a lot of diving experience, both as a recreational and a technical diver. You already have the PSS Accelerated Decompression Techniques certification, but your great passion (wreck diving, shark watching, etc) makes you to want to expand your depth limits further. However you are well aware that breathing air at depth creates unacceptable risks. What is more you wouldn't be able to enjoy your dive because you would be sufferring the effects of nitrogen narcosis. Once again PSS comes to your assistance with its marvellous program for normoxic trimixes: "Trimix 60M".
This course has been designed to satisfy the needs of those who, like you, want to begin making deep dives using helium in the breathing mix. Although, in practice, we are limited to the use of normoxic mixes (here the limit is for 60 meters (200 feet), the theory part of the course deals with all aspects regarding the use of trimix, even those that apply to the following course levels. The rest, therefore, is just practice!
On successfully completing this course you will be awarded certification to dive autonomously, within the limits established for technical diving and with the following restrictions: maximum depth 60 meters (200 feet); total duration of planned decompression, including ascent must not exceed 90 minutes (even in an emergency); use of oxygen-nitrogen bimixes and oxygen-helium-nitrogen trimixes, with oxygen percentages equal to or greater than 20%; use of a single decompression mix, different from the bottom mix.
