As regards diving activities, the organizational structure of PSS Worldwide consists of a Head Office and Regional Branches. Each Regional Branch is responsible for an "Area" which may be made up of part of a country, an entire country or a group of several countries together.
The Board of Directors and the Training Staff are located at the Head Office and are the common focal point for PSS associates all over the world..
Each Regional Branch has a Representative (even more than one if the branch is multi-national or multi-lingual) who represents the top level of PSS Worldwide management in the area he or she is responsible for and is answerable only to Head Office. The Representative officially represents PSS Worldwide in the countries he or she is responsible for, submits - for approval or disapproval - the application for certification of the various associates to Head Office, promotes the development of PSS in diving and co-ordinates training at instructor level.
The Representatives from all over the world make up, together with the Training Officer of Head Office, the International Committee for the Revision of Rules. The Committee’s task is to make changes or amendments to the rules when needed, or to confirm any national exceptions to the rules deemed necessary by the various Regional Branches.
