How it works
With EVO you align the theory and learn to build effective lessons. In the water you practice explanations, demonstrations, and conducting sessions, up to managing surface techniques in open water under supervision.
- EVO e‑learning: PSS didactics, remedial lessons, classroom management.
- Confined water: teaching OWD techniques, briefing and debriefing.
- Open water: surface exercises and support in running the sessions.
Essential prerequisites
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Prerequisites: Divemaster; Scuba Rescue Diver Plus; Deep Diver Plus; active First Aid and CPR; active Oxygen in Diving Emergency.

What you will take home

The certification
Attests that you canteach and assessindependently theory and confined water for introductory programs (Scuba Experience) and Scuba Diver; and,under the supervision of a Scuba Instructor, teach theory of all courses and confined‑water techniques, as well asassess in confined water and surface techniques in open waterunder direct supervision.
Standards and recognition
The course complies with ISO 24802-1 (Assistant Instructor). PSS certifications are internationally recognized: PSS Worldwide is a member of the RSTC, the consortium that brings together the leading scuba training agencies worldwide.
