Why this program
A clear, calm introduction to scuba. You breathe underwater with an experienced guide, get confident with equipment and signals, and take home useful basics to decide how to continue. This is not a qualifying course.
- Simple approach: understand how the equipment works and how to move safely.
- Calm in the water: first drills in a protected environment, then a short outing in sea/lake if planned.
- Realistic objective: guided experience, without certification, with an optional non-qualifying certificate of participation.
How it works
Theory on EVO covers the basics; in confined water you try the equipment and the essential skills. A single optional open-water dive is possible, during daylight, within 12 m (6 m suggested) and with a direct ascent to the surface, always under the instructor’s direct supervision.
- EVO e-learning: equipment, equalization, signals, safety.
- Confined water: breathing, mask clearing, BCD control, regulator recovery, hand-signal communication.
- Open water (optional): short guided tour in compliance with the limits indicated above.
Timing: ~1 hour of theory (including eLearning) and ≥1 hour in the water, as per standards.
