The structure of the PSS course theory modules is the result of a design for an "in-house" digital teaching system. Students study using a system that can be quickly used digitally and that allows them to manage their time and organize their studies according to their needs. The theory part of the PSS courses is divided into numerous teaching modules, each with study times not exceeding 20 minutes, accessible both on and off-line using any device. In this way it is possible to complete an entire module wherever you are and in the time you have available.
In a system designed for digital learning, the videos are not used as teaching aids to simply assist the instructor during the lessons. In the PSS educational system, the videos have been designed to be an integral part of elearning. Their content covers the entire course program and provides clear and detailed explanations of the theoretical notions, replacing the physical presence of the instructor. For example, there are 59 videos for the Open Water Diver course related just to the theory modules, for a total duration of more than 3 hours.
Teaching and practicing diving is not the same in every part of the world and we at PSS are well aware of this. Elearning study alone is therefore not enough, but must be integrated with "local" information. What type of equipment is used locally? What laws or national and local regulations affect diving activities? In order to integrate this information the PSS e-Training system constructs corrective lessons, available through "virtual classrooms", so that the instructor can verify learning and integrate all the "local" aspects of diving.

The PSS EVO e-learning segments were completed prior to our Skype meeting and the web interface was very intuitive. The content was succinct but thorough and all elements of the PSS training went smoothly even with individual challenges that were all resolved effectively and efficiently.

I'm excited about the opportunities and teaching techniques available through PSS. I have taught through many agencies and activities over the years, but the progressive nature of PSS and the flexible and responsive support to instructors and dive businesses is truly impressive.
All PSS courses, apart from the speciality courses designed by the instructor, are available in the EVO digital format. The PSS courses are always developed first for the EVO system, only later is the "hard copy" alternative (paper manual, DVD, forms, etc.) created - if required.
The EVO system allows the student to study in their own language and the instructor can conduct the corrective lesson in the common language but the system still provides access to both language versions during the lesson.
The EVO course remains active and available forever! The student can repeat the study, download the manuals and videos, repeat the questions at the end of the modules, plus reviewing the updated versions of the same course.
The documents such as medical examination, certifications owned or any forms of the PSS center are loaded by the student in a special “documentation” area and available for management to the instructor and to the center for checks, updating, printing. Only for the instructor or the center can remove uploaded documents.
