Why this course
You already have the basics; now you want to feel truly comfortable underwater. With AOWD you work on buoyancy/trim, navigate safely and make a mindful introduction to deep diving. All with attention to the environment and teamwork.
- Concrete progression:useful exercises, clear objectives, targeted feedback.
- EVO + practice: study on EVO, then put it into practice in the water with your instructor.
- Environmental awareness:good practices to reduce impact while diving.
How it works
The theory on EVO prepares you in a simple way; in the water, training is step by step: fine-tuning buoyancy and trim, practical navigation with a compass and orientation, then an introductory deep dive with a thorough briefing.
- EVO e‑learning: short modules and remedial lessons with the instructor.
- Confined water (if useful): refinement of trim/propulsion.
- Open water: real navigation exercises and introduction to deep.
Essential prerequisites
- Minimum age: 15 years (AOWD) or 12 years (Jr AOWD).
- Prerequisites: Open Water Diver (or equivalent).
- Medical fitness
What you will take home
